Girls' Dev. program
Athletes are selected for the Metro South Gymnastics Academy Development Program (DP) through team tryouts and evaluations conducted by our coaching staff. Our DP teams represent MSGA at local, regional, and national invitational competitions, providing athletes with opportunities to challenge themselves and showcase their skills at a high level.
The Development Program is designed for athletes who are committed to pursuing excellence in gymnastics. Participation helps develop valuable life skills such as dedication, discipline, time management, perseverance, and goal setting—qualities that extend far beyond the gym.
The Girls Development Program is a year-round commitment that requires hard work, focus, and sacrifice from both athletes and their families. MSGA has earned a reputation as one of the premier Development Programs in the state and region, consistently producing strong competitive results and successful athletes. In 2025, MSGA was honored as the USA Gymnastics Development Program of the Year, recognizing the strength and success of our program.
Whether an athlete's goal is to reach the highest levels of competitive gymnastics or simply to challenge themselves and grow as an athlete, the Development Program provides a supportive and competitive environment for success.
Boys' Dev. program
Metro South Gymnastics Academy Development Program (DP) boys members are selected at team tryouts by our coaching staff. Our boys program has burst onto the scene and their performances have turned heads. With athletes already winning the All-Around, the boys team has made a name for themselves.
The boys program couples discipline and respect with camaraderie and hard work. These young men are taught gymnastics and so much more.
Metro South Gymnastics Academy Junior Olympic (JO) boys team members are selected at team tryouts by our coaching staff. Our boys team has burst onto the scene and their performances have turned heads. With athletes already winning the All-Around, the boys team has made a name for themselves.

xcel Team
This is one of the most exciting additions to the world of competitive gymnastics. Do you love soccer, track, baseball/softball, hockey, or any other sport or activity, but also love gymnastics? This is the place for you. With less time commitment in the gym, you will be able to be a competitive gymnast, but also be able to pursue your other passions. We are VERY excited about this addition.
As MSGA bursts into the competitive scene, we've already had great success with our Xcel program as one of the strongest teams in the state. We offer all the Xcel levels from the entry levels of Bronze, Silver, and Gold, to the more advanced Platinum and Diamond.
